<br />If the owner has hired a contractor or contractors to undertake work, they may b& required to be licensed in accordance with
<br />st.te .nd loc.l regulations. If the contractor Is not licens~d as required by law, both the OHner and contract~r ~ay be
<br />cited for a .isdemeanor violation under state laM. . If the owner or intended contractor are uncertain as to what licensing
<br />require.ents lay apply for the intended work, they are advised to contact the City of 2ephyrhills Building Departeent, 18131
<br />789-6611.

<br />Furtheraore, if the owner has hired a contractor Dr contractors, he is advised to have the c~ntractor(s) sign portions of the
<br />'Contractor Sections' of this application for which they will be responsible. If ye'u, as the owner sign as the contr.ctor,
<br />you are indicating that you, rather than the contractor, are responsible for the work. If the c~ntractor wishes you to sign
<br />as contractor that aay be an indication that he is not properly licensed and is not entitled to per&itting privileges in the
<br />City of Zephyrhills.

<br />unless the work authorized by such permit is COllmenced within six months of issuance, or if work authorIzed by the perlil is
