<br />state and local regulations. If the contractor is not licensed as required by law, both the ~"ner and contractor lay be
<br />cited for a misdeteanor violation under state law. If the owner ~r intended contract~r are uncertain as to what licensing
<br />require.ents lay apply for the intended work, they are advised to contact the City ~f Zephyrhills Building Depart.ent, (813)

<br />Further.ore, if the owner has hired a contractor or contractors, he is advised to have the contract~r(s) sign portions of the
<br />'Contractor Sections' of this application for which they will be resp~nsible. If y~u, as the ~wner sign as the c~ntractor,
<br />you are indicating that you, rather than the contractor, are responsible for the w~rk. If the contractor wishes you to sign
<br />as contractor that .ay be an indication that he is not pr~perly licensed' and is not entitled to per&itting privileges in the
<br />City of Zephyrhills.
