<br />Furtherlore, if the owner has hired a contractor or contractors, he is advised to have the contractorlsl sign portions of the
<br />'Contractor Sections" of this application for which they will be responsible. If you, as the owner sign as the contractor,
<br />you are indicating that you, rather than the contractor, are responsible for the Hork. If the contrdctor wishes you to sign
<br />as contract~r that aay be an indication that he is not properly licensed and is not entitled to per&itting privileges in the
<br />City of Zephyrhills.

<br />A pertit issued shall be construed tu be a license to proceed with the work and not as authority to yiolate, cancel alter, or
<br />set aside any provisions of the technical codes, nor shall issuance of a permit prevent the Building Official fro~ thereafter
<br />requiring a correction of errors in plans; construction, or violations of any code. Every permit issued ;hall becole invalid
<br />unless the work authorized by such permit is comlenced ~ithin six months of issuance, or if w~l.k authol lzed by the per.it is
<br />suspended or abandoned for a period of six lonths after the tiJe the work is co~menced. One 90 day e:tE~sioll of tile, lay be
<br />allowed for the per~it with fee charge of $15.00. The extension shall be requested in writing to the Building Official. An
<br />approved inspection I!ust be logged during each six tonth period, or the project Hill be considered dbilJdoned.
