<br />If the own~r has hired a contractor .or contractors to undertake work, .they lay be required tu be licensed in accordance with
<br />state and local regulations. If the contractor is not licensed as required by law, buth the owner and contractor ~ay be
<br />cited for a lisdemeanor violation under state law.. If the owner or intended contractor are uncertain as tu what licensing
<br />require.ents lay apply for the intended work, they are advised to contact the City of Zephyrhills Building Departlent, (813)
<br />71111-bbll.

<br />Furthermore, if the owner has hired a contractor or contractors, he is advised tu have the contractor(s) sign portions uf the
<br />'Contractor Sectiuns' of this application for which they will be responsible. If you, as the e.wner sign as the contractor,
<br />you are indicating that you, rather than the contractor, are responsible for the work. If the contractor wishes you tu sign
<br />as contractor that aay be an indication that he is not properly licensed ~nd is nut entitled to per~itting privileges in the
<br />City of Zephyrhills.
