If the contract~r is not licensed as required by law, both the owner and contractor ~ay be <br />cited for a misdemeanor violation under state law. If the ~wner or intended contractor are uncertain as to what licensino <br />requirements may apply for the intended work, they are advised to contact the City of Zephyrhills Building Departffient, (BI3) <br />788-6611. <br /> <br />Furthermore, if the owner has hired a contractor or contractors, he is advised to have the contractor(sl sign portions of the <br />"Contractor Sections" ~f this application for which they will be responsible. If you, as the owner sign as the c~ntractor, <br />y~u are indicating that y~u, rather than the c~ntract~r, are resp~nsible for the work. If the contractor wishes y~u t~ sign <br />as contract~r that may be an indication that he is n~t pr~perly licensed and is not entitled to permitting privileges in the <br />City of Zephyrhills. <br /> <br />C.
