<br />B. UNLICENSED CONTRACTORS AND CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES

<br />If the o"n~r has hired a contractor or contractors to undertake work, they may be required t.o be licensed in accordance with
<br />state and local regulations. If the contractor is not licensed as required by law, both the OHner and contract~r nay be
<br />cited for a lisdeaeanor violation under state law. , If the owner or intended contractor ar~ uncertain as to what licensing
<br />requirelents lay apply for the intended Hork, they are advised to contact the City of Zephyrhills 8uilding Departeent, (8131
<br />788-6611.

<br />Furtherlore, if the owner has hired a contractor or contractors, he is advised to have the contractor(s) sign portions of the
<br />'Contractor Sections' of this application for Hhich they will be responsible. If you, as the owner sign as the contractor,
<br />you are indicating that you, rather than the contractor, are responsible for the Hork. If the contractor wishes you to sign
<br />as contractor that lay be an indication that he is not properly licensed and is not entitled te, per~itting privileges in the
<br />City of Zephyrhills.

<br />requiring a correction (If ernrs in plans, ct.nstrudie,n, or violations of any ce,de. Every perillt issued ::hall bcce'le invalid
<br />unless the work authori2ed by such permit is cOllmenced within six months of issuance, or if HOlk authorIzed by the perlit is
<br />suspended or abandoned for a period of six lonths after the time the >>ork is co~menced, One 90 day e=le~5ioll of tile, lIay be
<br />allowed for the permit with fee charge of $15.00. The extension shall be requested in writing to the Building Official. An
