This
would corrupt the grounding network for the automatic scoring system. The
recommended plastic plate for the Arrow Hart TVSS is an Arrow Hart P26 plate for
a single outlet pair, an Arrow Hart P262 plate for a double outlat pair, or an Arrow
Hart P264 plate for a quadruple outlet pair. Use no wire smaller than number 12
A WG, rated at 600 volts. Provisions must also be made to route the video and
audio cables into the overhead area to the remote monitor housings. The com-
mercial broadcast connections (Cable TV, Antenna, etc.) are the responsibility of
the proprietor. The custome~s video equipment described above is not available
through AMF. The proprietor is responsible for all connections required to hookup
to the inputs of the audio preamplifiers and the video amp, which are a standard
part of the installation.

NOTE: The AudioNideo equipment described above will probably not exceed 7
amps @ 115V 50160 Hz or 4.2 amps @ 230V 50/60 Hz.

2.5.2 ADVANTAGE OR ADVANTAGE UTE FRONT DESK DEVICES

The Advantage front desk equipment requires provisions at the control desk to
locate the front' desk terminal, ticket printer, and lane interface unit. A three wire
dedicated 115/230 volt 20 amp 50/60 Hz circuit with an isolate~ ground outlet,
Arrow Hart IG5262S TVSS (Transient Voltage Surge Suppressor), with provisions
for 4 plugs is required (an outlet strip may be used) and must be located within 4
feet of where the above equipment is to be installed. This isolated ground outlet
should be covered with a plastic rather than a metal plate since the ground pin on
one of the plugs can make contact with this plate. This would corrupt the ground-
ing network for the automatic scoring system. The recommended plastic plate for
the Arrow Hart TVSS is an Arrow Hart P26 plate for a single outlet pair, an Arrow
Hart P262 plate for a double outlet pair, or an Arrow Hart P264 plate for a qua-
druple outlet pair. This circuit shall not be connected to or used by any equipment
other than the equipment described above. Use no wire smaller than number 12
A WG, rated 600 volts. Where length of circuit home run exceeds 100 feet use
number 10 A WG for home run.

Provisions must also be made to route the cables from this equipment to the back
office equipment

NOTE: The Front Desk Equipment described requires 4.5 amps @ 115V 50/60
Hz or 2.7 amps @ 230V 50/60 Hz. See appendix for Advantage configuration.

~ 2.5.3 ACCUDESK DEVltE;..O

,..

The AccuDesk front desk equipment requires provisions at the control desk to
locate the AccuDesk chassis and interface box, front desk terminal, and ticket
printer. A three wire dedicated 115/230 volt 20 amp 50/60 Hz Circuit with an
isolated ground outlet, Arrow Hart IG5262S TVSS (Transient Voltage Surge
Suppressor), with provisions for 4 plugs is required (an outlet strip may be used)
and must be located within 4 feet of where the above equipment is to be installed.
This isolated ground outlet should be covered with a plastic rather than a metal
plate since the ground pin on one of the plugs can make contact with this plate.
This would corrupt the grounding network for the automatic scoring system.
