<br />SECTION 3 <br /> <br />t <br /> <br />BASIC NOZZLE COVERAGE AND PLACEMENT <br /> <br />Each nozzle Is capable of covering a certain area. <br />This depends on the nozzle and other factors. Dif- <br />ferent nozzles are used to protect different sec- <br />tions of the cooking equipment. <br /> <br />APPLIANCE NOZZLE COVERAGE <br /> <br />The maximum nozzle coverage area, for ap- <br />pliances, is expressed in square feet together <br />with a longest side limitation. <br /> <br />SURFACE APPLIANCES <br /> <br />SW-2 nozzles (Figure 3-1) are used to protect sur- <br />face appliances.
