<br />state and local regulations. If the contractor is not licensed as required by law, both the owner and contractor IIY be

<br />FurtherlOre, if the owner bas bired a contractor or contractors, he is advised to bave the contractor(s) sign portions of the
<br />RContractor Sections I of this application for wbich they will be responsible. If you, as the owner sign as the contractor,
<br />you are indicating that you, rather than the contractor, are responsible for the work. If the contractor wisbes you to sign
<br />as contractor that laY be an indication that be is not properly licensed and is not entitled to penitting privileges in the
<br />City of Zepbyrhills.

<br />A penit issued shall be construed to be a license to proceed with the wort and not as authority to violate, cancel alter, or
<br />set aside any provisions of the technical codes, nor sball issuance of a peIlit prevent the Building Official frOl thereafter
<br />requiring a correction of errors in plans, construction, or violations of any code. Every penit issued shall bealle invalid
<br />unless the work authoriled by such penit is COIIeDced within six IOnths of issuance, or if work authoriJed by the penit is
<br />suspended or abandoned for a period of six IODths after the tile the work is COIIeDced. One 90 day utension of tile, IIY be
<br />allowed for the penit with fee charge of $15.00. '!'be utension sball be requested in writing to tbe Building Official. An
<br />approved inspection lUSt be logged during each sil IODtb period, or the project will be considered abandoned.
