Tho reeainer in Model <br />BG-8 is a permanent high tensile coil spring. which eliminaleS <br />the need for a glass retainer. When so operated, the covet hangs <br />down (and cannot be made ta stay ina closed position) indkat- <br />ing that the station was used CO turn in the alarm.
