<br />cited for a lisdl!leanor violation under state law. If the owner or intended contractor are uncertain as to "bat licwing

<br />you are indicating that you, rather tban the contractor, are responsible for the work. If the contractor wisbes you to sign
<br />as contractor that lay be an indication that be is not properly licensed and is not entitled to pelllitting privileges in the
<br />City of Zepbyrbills.

<br />A pelllit issued sball be construed to be a license to proceed with the work and not as authority to violate, cancel alter, or
<br />set aside any provisions of tbe technical codes, nor sball issuance of a pelllit prevent the Building Official frOl thereafter
<br />requiring a correction of errors in plans, construction, or violations of any code. Every pertit issued shall beCOle invalid
<br />unless the work authorized by sueb pelllit is cOllenced within six IOnths of issuance, or if work authorized by the perJit is
<br />suspended or abandoned for a period of six IOnths after the tile the wort is c_enced. One 90 day l!Itension of tile, lily be
<br />allowed for tbe pelllit with fee ebarge of $15.00. Tbe l!Itension sball be requested in writing to the Building Official. An
<br />approved inspection lUSt be logged during eaeb six IOnth period, or the project will be considered abandoned.
