<br />cited for a lisdeleanor violation under state law. If the ower or intended contractor are uncertain as to what licensing

<br />you are indicating tbat you, rather than the contractor, are responsible for the wrk. If the contractor wisbes you to sign
<br />as contractor tbat lilY be an indication tbat be is not properly licensed and is not entitled to perJitting privileges in the
<br />City of Zepbyrbills.

<br />A perlit issued shall be construed to be a license to proceed with the IIOrk and not as authority to violate, cancel alter, or
<br />set aside any provisions of the technical codes, nor shall issuance of a pel'lit prevent the Building Official frOJ thereafter
<br />requiring a correction of errors in plans, construction, or violations of any code. Every perait issued shall beCOle invalid
<br />unless the work authoriled by such pel'lit is co.enced within sillOntbs of issuance, or if work authoriled by the peIlit is
<br />suspended or abandoned for a period of sil IODtbs after the tHe the work is COIIeJlced. One 90 day l!Itension of tile, lilY be
<br />allowed for the perait with fee charge of $15.00. rbe l!Itension shall be requested in writing to the Building Official. An
<br />approved inspection lUSt be logged during eaeb sillOnth period, or the project will be considBled abandoned.
