<br /> <br />CHAPTER 11 <br /> <br />LAMINATED COMPOSITE ROOF SYSTEMS <br /> <br />1101 : The span and slope of structural aluminum composite panel roofs shall be designed as per the tables <br />contained herein. <br /> <br />1102: The minimum pitch or slope of structural aluminum composite panel roofs shall be one quarter: twelve <br />(1/4: 12) or one quarter inch per foot. The maximum pitch or slope shall be two and one-eighth: twelve <br />(2-1/8:12) or two and one eighth inches per foot. <br /> <br />1103: Fascia boards supporting structural aluminum composite panel roofs shall be fastened to each truss or <br />rafter tail with a minimum of two #10 screws long enough to penetrate the end of the rafter or truss one <br />and one half inches (1-1/2"), or as per the details contained herein. <br /> <br />1104: Receiver channel material used to . fasten aluminum composite roof systems to the host structure shall be <br />of equal or greater thickness than that of the exterior skin thickness, and shall be fastened to the host <br />structure as per the details contained herein. <br /> <br />1105: Structural aluminum composite panels shall be fastened to the edge beam, or header beam, and end wall <br />top members as per the details contained herein. <br /> <br />., <br />1106: All exposed edges of structural aluminum composite panel roofs shall be capped to protect the e.p.s. <br />and prevent water intru~ion. <br /> <br />~ ALUMINUM STRUCTURES MASTER PLAN <br />ENGIt-EERlNG,INC. @ COPYRIGHT AL, INC. 1994 <br /> <br />93 <br />
