<br />If the owner has hired a contractor or contractors to undertake work, they lay be required to be licensed in accordance with
<br />state and local regulations. If tbe contractor is not licensed as required by law, both the mmer and contractor JaY be
<br />cited for a lisdelleanor violation under state law. If the owner or intended contractor are uncertain as to wbat licensing
<br />requirelents aay apply for tbe intended work, they are advised to contact the City of Zepbyrbills Building Departlent, (813)
<br />788-6611.

<br />.Contractor Sections I of this application for wbicb tbey will be responsible. If you, as the mmer sign as the contractor,
<br />you are indicating that you, ratber than tbe contractor, are responsible for the work. If tbe contractor wisbes you to sign
<br />as contractor that lay be an indication that be is not properly licensed and is not entitled to peraitting privileges in the
<br />City of Zepbyrhills.

<br />installation has COIIenced prior to issuance of a perlit and that all work will be perfolled to leet standards of all laws
<br />regulating construction, City codes, loning regulations, and land developlent regulations in tbejurisdiction. I also

<br />set aside any provisions of tbe technical codes, nor sball is~uance of a perlit prevent the Building Official frOl thereafter
<br />requiring a correction of errors in plans, construction, or violations of any code. Every perait issued shall becou invalid
<br />unless the work authoriled by such perlit is cOllenced within sil IOnths of issuance, or if work authorized by the perait is
<br />suspended or abandoned for a period of sil IOntbs after the tile the work is cOMenced. One 90 day utension of tDe, lilY be
<br />allowed for the perait with fee cbarge of $15.00. !be extension sball be requested in writing to the Building Official. An
<br />approved inspection lust be logged during eacb sil IOnth period, or the project will be considered abandoned.
