FL 33539 <br /> <br />Telephone 813-788-6257 <br />Fax 813-782-3321 <br /> <br />Silver Oaks Community Association <br />Bob E, Eppers, President <br />P,O, Bx, 1536 <br />Zephyrhills, FL 33541 <br /> <br />April 28, 1997 <br /> <br />RE: DRC Sidewalk, lot 65 Stephen's Glen Phase Three <br /> <br />Dear Bob, <br /> <br />Enclosed is a copy of a portion of the plat and surrounding lots in Stephen's Glen, <br />Specifically I am requesting a review of the sidewalk requirement for lot 65, the lot at the <br />end of the cul-de-sac, The following infbrmation is pertinent to this lot: <br /> <br />1, Any sidewalk built along this lot would put pedestrians in a dangerous path, <br />exposed to slicing golf balls heing hit off of the tee on golf hole number 4, <br />This is an unobstructed path from the tee, only 100'-150' from the area where <br />the sidewalk would be constructed. A sidewalk would encourage pedestrian <br />traffic in this area, placing both the homeowner and the Community <br />Association in a position of high liability, <br />2. The sidewalk on lot # 64 currently ends at the cart path running across a <br />portion of the lot, which is approximately 100' from the southern lot line of lot <br />#65. <br />3, There is no lot north oflot 65, only a cul-de-sac, so the sidewalk would have <br />no connecting point on either end, <br />4, Lot is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, so from a pedestrian standpoint there <br />is little or no traffic, making walking in the street safer than other areas of <br />Silver Oaks, <br /> <br />For these reasons, most importantly the liability issue, I request a waiver of all sidewalk <br />requirements fur lot 65, Stephen's Glen phase three, <br />
