If you, as the owner sign as the contractor, <br />you are indicating that you, rather than the contractor, are responsible for the 1I0rk. If the contractor IIi shes you to sign <br />as contractor that lay be an indication that he is not properly' licensed and is not entitled to per.itting priVileges in the <br />City of Zepbyrbills. <br /> <br />C. I certify that no work or <br />installation has cOllenced prior to issuance of a per.it and that all 1I0rk lIill be perfoCled to leet standards of all lalls <br />regulating construction, City codes, zoning regulations, and land development regulations in the jurisdiction. I also <br />certify that I understand that the regulations of other goverIllental agencies lay apply to the intended lIork, and that it is <br />my responsibility to identify what actions I lust take to be in cOlpliance. Every peClit issued shall becOle invalid <br />unless the work authorized by such permit is cOllenced lIithin six IOnths of issuance, or if work authorized by the perlit is <br />suspended or abandoned for a period of six IOntbs after the ti.e the lIork is couenced. One 90 day extension of ti.e, laY be <br />allolled for the perlit with fee charge of $15.00. The extension shall be requested in IIriting to the Building Official.
