That conversation concerned the <br />Manufactured Home Electrical Supply Requirements chart (Table 7) in the Skyline Corporation <br />Manufactured Home Installation Manual, chapter 7, page 47, <br /> <br />The table for electrical supply wiring as shown in the Skyline Corporation Manufactured Home Installation <br />Manual is based on using copper wiring, 750 C temperature rating. See Table31O-16 of the National <br />Electric Code. Alternate wire sizes and/or materials may also be used, as listed in Table 310-16 of the <br />NEC, unless otherwise restricted by the authority having jurisdiction. <br /> <br />Additionally, where the conditions in note 3 of the "Notes to Ampacity Tables of 0 to 2000 Volts" are met, <br />the wire sizes may be further reduced as shown in the table of note 3, <br />Example: a 3/0 copper wire may be replaced with a 4/0 aluminum wire. <br /> <br />By copy of this letter, Skyline Corporation approves the use of alternate wire sizing and materials, when in <br />compliance with the above references sections of the NEC. .. <br />, <br /> <br />I trust this information has met your requirements.
