(See FIG. 4). <br /> <br />Step 0: If there is an entrance, the entrance frame and attached sidelight unit(s) should be installed first <br />being careful to locate it accurately in the opening. Fasten to surround through the glazing pocket <br />and threshold using appropriate fasteners. <br /> <br />Step E: Install the framing units starting at the entrance and working towards the end(s). If there is no <br />entrance start at one jamb then work toward the other. <br /> <br />Step F: The first unit should be attached to the surround at the head, sill, and jamb. (See STEP I). <br />The remaining units are installed by snapping together the female mullion half with the male half of <br />the adjacent unit. Guide horizontals over shear blocks on door <br />jamb and install unit into place (FIG. 8). <br /> <br />t. <br /> <br /> <br />Stept: <br /> <br />Insert shims as needed at head and jambs and anchor through the glass pocket. (See FIG. 6). <br />Fasteners should be within 6" (152mm) of mullions on each side and 24" (609mm) a.c. in between. <br />Countersink all screw heads. Seal fasteners at sill. (See FIG. 9). <br /> <br />NOTE: If heavy mullion or steel reinforcing is used, extra perimeter fasteners may be required to <br />handle larger loads.
