<br />(l) Owners of property when acting as their own <br />contractor and providing all rnaterial supervision them- <br />selves, when building or irnproving fann outbuildings or <br />one-fa,nily or two-fa,nily residences on such property · <br />for Ihe occupancy or use of such owners and not offered <br />for sale or lease, or building or irnproving commercial <br />buildings at a cosl of under $25,000 on such property for <br />'he occupancy or use 01 such owners and nol offered <br />for sale or lease. In an action brought under lhis part, <br />proof of the sale or lease, or oHering for sale or lease, 01 <br />any such structure by the owner-builder within 1 year <br />after cOfllpletiofl of sarne creates a presurnption that the <br />construclior 1 was undertaJ~erl for purposes of sale or <br />lease. This subsection does not exernpt any person who <br />is e,nployed by such owner and who acts in lhe capacity. <br />of a contractor.
