Florida structural additions to Skyline Homes including but not limited to add~a- <br />rooms, roof-over porches and car ports. <br />. <br /> <br />As stated in the Skyline Installation Manual, structures attached to the side of <br /> <br />Skyline constructed homes are to be free-standing and self-supporting so that all loads are <br /> <br />transferred directly to the ground. Only the mating flashings are to be attached to the <br /> <br />main unit. <br /> <br />As an alternate, attached structures which are constructed in accordance with local <br /> <br />or state buildirig codes, but which may not be completely self-supporting may be attached <br /> <br />to the side of a Skyline constructed home providing the following: <br /> <br />1.) The attached structured is 14 feet or less in width when viewed from the <br /> <br />hitch end of the home. Alternately. the attachment may be wider than <br /> <br />. 14 feet provided that the structure is supported such that no more than a <br /> <br />14 foot span is directly adjacent to and supported by the manufactured <br /> <br />home. <br /> <br />;2.)
