<br />ASSEMBL Y (Cont'd) <br /> <br />GENERAL <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />After determining the size and type of your booth to be employed. ensure that an <br />assembly site is available that meetS the following qualifications: <br /> <br />A, A minimum of three feet at sides of the booth must be clear and free from storage <br />of combustible consttuction or other operations. A minimum ofthrec: feet clearance <br />is required in front of the booth opening, with si.'t feet or more from the nearest wall <br />preferred from the standpoint of providing smoother air flow through the booth. <br /> <br />B. The floor surface oftbe booth and operator's working area must be non-combustible <br />material such as to facilitate the safe cleaning and removal of residues, It must be <br />able to suppOrt tlte weight oCthe booth and the operator. <br /> <br />C. The floor surface of the booth must be flat and level to avoid erection problems 10 <br />alignmem of panels, etC. Shims should be used if necessary. <br /> <br />2. Using chalk, mark the dimensional outline of the booth on the floor. Check ceiling <br />beight for ample clear.mce. Check exhaust outlet location with the roof or wall to avoid <br />obstructions in the line of the exhaust pipe. <br /> <br />3. Unpaclc all components and stack all parts oflhe same size together. Using the size description on drawings. ensure that aU spray booth components are at <br />hand. <br /> <br />5. Study all the drawings and instructions thoroughly before beginning assembly. Each <br />COIDpOIlCJIt is shown by parr letter or number on the assembly drawings. This will aid in <br />determining where the various components are to be installed during assembly. <br /> <br />6. Assemble the booth using the assembly drawing. (Always start with the exhaust chamber <br />section.) <br /> <br />7. Mowlt emau:it unit and motOr. Exhaust Unit - ensure that there are no obsttuctions in <br />the unit that would dama2C it. Make cenain that electrical connections have been made <br />properly and thai direction of rotation is as indicated. Start exhaust unit. <br /> <br />8. Install exhaust piping.
