<br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />The Board of Adjustment meeting was held on Tuesday, September 12~ <br />2000 at 4:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of City Hall. <br />Present were members Wallace Reeves, Mickey McPhee, and Lance <br />Smith. Arlene Thornbury and Gary Clark were absent. Also present <br />were Bill Burgess, Building Official, and Tom McAlvanah, City <br />attorney. <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order by Chairman Reeves. Roll call was <br />taken, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Mickey McPhee for approval of minutes from May <br />9, 2000 meeting. Seconded by Lance Smith and passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Item (1) Thomas E. Foster - 5149 4~ Street - variance request of <br />one foot on side setbacks to construct new single family dwelling. <br /> <br />Mr. Foster was present and addressed the board regarding his <br />request. He stated if variance was approved it would allow him to <br />build a 27 foot wide home instead of a 25 foot wide home. <br /> <br />After brief discussion, Mickey McPhee moved the request be granted <br />per Section 3322, A-G and Section 3323, of the City Land <br />Development Code. Lance Smith clarified the motion to include the <br />variance would be for a one foot side set back with no change to <br />the front or back. Moti~n seconded 'by Lance Smith and passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 4:20 p.m. <br /> <br />"" <br />
