<br />EDCO Model FAS-120AC surge suppressor is designed to protect AC distribu-
<br />tion panel circuits or l20V power supplies feeding sensitive electronic equip-
<br />ment. Electrically the unit incorporates MOV and thermal fusing technology.

<br />The EMC is a rugged, highly reliable panel surge protector for residential or com-
<br />mercial standard l20/240V single or split phase applications.

<br />The EMC features totally solid -state construction for reliability and quick response
<br />to surges. Two advanced, metal oxide varistors (MOY) are the primary protective ele-
<br />ments, These MOV s are each capable of 40,000 amps of surge current.
<br />
<br />The protection components are designed to fail shorted and are fused. After a surge,
<br />the suppressor automatically recovers and is ready for the next surge, In a rare
<br />event of MOV failure, the fuse opens and the indicator LED extinguishes,
