<br />enclosure/fence required by the Pasco County Land O.evelopment Code, Section 530.4(0), will
<br />be eq1uipped with self-closing, self-latching devices with release mechanisms placed no lower
<br />than 54" above the floor or deck;

<br />I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT NOT HAVING AT LEAST ONE OF THE ABOVE INSTALLED AT
<br />THE TIME OF FINAL INSPECTION, OR WHEN THE POOL IS COMPLETED FOR CONTRACT
<br />PURPOSES, WILL CONSTITUTE A VIOLATION OF CHAPTER 515, F.S. AND WILL BE

<br />Provide and utilize an approved safety swimming pool, spa or hot tub cover that complies with ASTM
<br />F1346-91 (Standard Performance Specifications for Safety Covers for Swimming Pools, Spas and Hot
<br />Tubs). Such covet must be capable of being securely fastened over the swimming pool, spa or hot tub
<br />when not in use. .

<br />requirements of Florida Statute 515.29;

<br />Spas and Hot Tubs); .

<br />All doors and windows providing direct access from the home to the pool and located within the
<br />enclosure/fence required by the Pasco County Land Development Code, Section 530.4(D), will
<br />be equipped with an exit alarm that has a minimum sound pressure rating of 85 decibels at 10
<br />feet;

<br />Construct around the swimmin9 pool, spa or hot tub a MINIMUM FOUR FOOT HIGH FENCE with self-
<br />closing, self-latching gates.' Ttle fence must not have any gaps, openings, indentations, protrusions, or
<br />structural components thatcould allow a young child to crawl under, squeeze through, or climb over the
<br />fence.i Gates must open outward away from pool area. The releasing mechanism of the latching device
<br />must be located on the poolsipeof the gate and so placed that it cannot be reached by a young child
<br />over the top or through any opening or gap. No opening in the fence may be large enough to-admit a
<br />four-inch sphere. .

<br />Construct a ~creen enclosure around the swimming pool, spa or hot tub with self-closing, self-latching
<br />screen doorsl Latches on exterior screen doors must be minimum 54 inches from the exterior access
<br />standing surface. IAII screen enclosures require Building Permits.
