CTR., S-210 <br />7530 LITTLE ROAD <br />NEW PORT RICHK'l, lL 34654 <br /> <br />.' <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />NOTICE <br /> <br />It has been determined tbat your property does not lie within the lOa-year <br />flood zone. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />It has been determined that your property lies within the 100-year flood zone <br />as established by the Federal Insurance Rate Maps. <br /> <br />Under Section 700 of the Pasco County Land Development Code, all new residential <br />construction or substantial improvement thereto within the 100-year flood zone must <br />have its lowest habitable floor or, when applicable, its lowest supporting struc- <br />tural member elevated in accordance with approved construction standards to or above <br />the applicable base flood elevation. All new nonresidential construction or sub- <br />stantial improvements thereto within the lOa-year flood zone must either have its <br />lowest habitable floor or, when applicable, its lowest supporting structural member <br />elevated in accordance with approved construction~standards to or above the appli- <br />cable base flood elevation, or must be flood-proofed in accordance with approved <br />construction standards. <br /> <br />All Building Permit applicants receiving building permits for structures located <br />within the lOa-year flood zone have twenty-one (21) days from establishment of the <br />lowest habitable floor, or placement of the lowest habitable floor structural <br />support member, or flood-proofing, whichever is applicable, to submit certification <br />of compliance with the above-mentioned regulations to the permitting office which <br />issued the Building Permit. <br /> <br />Further, if fill material is to be utilized to meet the base flood finished floor <br />criteria, the applicant shall be required to submit, concurrent with the Certificate <br />of Compliance, an engineer's certificate as required by code. Such certification <br />shall be prepared and sealed by a registered professional engineer, State of <br />Florida, and shall attest that the construction will not create an adverse impact <br />upon adjoining property as a result of stormwater run-off. <br /> <br />Failure to comply with the above-mentioned regulations constitutes a violation of <br />Section 700 of the Pasco County Land Development Code and may subject the violator <br />to a fine not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or imprisonment for a period <br />not exceeding sixty (60) days, or both, or other appropriate legal action. Certif- <br />icates of Occupancy and/or final power releases shall be withheld until the above- <br />mentioned regulations have been fully complied with.
