Construction of screen room footer and carport existing slab at Lot 31, <br />Laural Valley Blvd., Zephyrhills, Florida <br /> <br />To whom it may concern, <br /> <br />I hereby certify that I have reviewed the plans and construction site and find <br />that an 8"x8" 3000 psi footer with (1) #5 rebar continuous on chairs is a <br />permissable substitution for this screen room application per section <br />1804.1.3 of the Florida Building Code. <br /> <br />I further certify that the carport existing 3000 psi 4" concrete slab w/o footer <br />with 30" auger anchor with ~" thru bolt, washers&nut (corrosion resistant) <br />together with the aluminum base bracket attachement with (6)~" tapcons wi <br />2" min embecment will provide in excess of2000# uplift capacity (1600# <br />req'd) to comply with section 1606 of the Florida Building Code. <br /> <br />See attached drawings of base plate attachment &auger anchor attachment <br />detail. <br /> <br />David W.Smith, p.e.#53608 <br /> <br />
