<br />liaensed as required by law, both the owner and contractor may be clted for a misdemeanor
<br />violation Ullder state law. If the owner or intended contractor are uncertain as ta what

<br />will be responsible. If you, as the owner signs as the contraotor, you are indicating that
<br />you, rather than the contractor, ara responsible for the work. If the contraotor wishes
<br />you to sign as contractor that may be an indication that he is not properly lioensed and is
<br />not entitled to permitting privileges ln the City of Zephyrhills.

<br />I also aertify that, if fill material 1s to be used in Flood Zone "A" or "A,eta.", it is
<br />understood that a drainage plan addressing a "compensating volume" will be submitted whioh
<br />is prepared by a professional engineer registered in the State of Florida prior to permit
<br />issuance.
<br />A permit lasued shall be construed to be a license to proceed with ~he work and not as
<br />autllority to violate, aancel, alter, or set aside any provisions of the technical codes,
<br />nor shall issuance of a permit prevent the Building Official from thereafter requiring a
<br />con:eation of errors in plans, oonstruotiol1, or violations of any code. Every permit
<br />181ued shall become invalid un1e.. the wO,t:,k' authorized by suoh permit is commenced within
<br />8iK months of issuance, or if work authorlzed by the permit is suspended or abandoned for a
<br />period of six months after the time the work is commenced,. One 90 day extensioll of thlle
<br />may be allowed for the permit with fee charge of $15.00. The extension shall be requested
<br />in writing to the Building Offioial. An approved inspection must be logged during eaah six
<br />month period, or the project will be oonsidered abandoned.
