<br />If the owner has hired a contractor or contractors to undertake work, they may be required
<br />to be li censed in accordance ~dth state and local regulations, If the contractor is not
<br />licensed as required by law, both the owner and contractor may be cited for a misdemeallor
<br />violation ullder state law. If the owner or intended contractor are uncertain as to what
<br />U censing requi rements may apply for the intf:lnded work, . they are advised to contaot the
<br />city of Zephyrhills Building Department, 613-766-6611,

<br />contractor(a) sign portions of the "Contractor SectionsU of this application far whiell they
<br />will be responsible. If you, as the owner signs <IS the contractor, YQl,\ are indicating that
<br />you, rather than the contractor, are responsible for the work, If the contractor wislles
<br />you to sign as contractor that may be an indication that he is not properly licensed and is
<br />not entitled to permitting privil~ges in the City of Zephyrhills.
