<br />A permit issued shall be construed to be a license to proceed with the work and not as
<br />authori ty to violate, cancel, al ter', or set aside any provisions of the tectlllical codes,
<br />nor shall 1ssuance of a permit prevent the Building Official from thereafter requiring a
<br />cpr~ectiQn of errors in plans, gon~truction! or vio~ations of any code. Every pe,mit
<br />ist.t~ed sh~ll become invalid unl~ss the HarK authorized by such permit is cOllunenced within
<br />six months of issuance, or if work authorized by the perm1t 1s suspended or abandoned f~r a
<br />period of SiK months after the time the work is commenced. One 90 day extension of time
<br />may be alloHed for the permit with fee charge of $15,00. Tile extension shall be ~equeated
<br />in writing to the Build!.ng Official. An approved 1nspection must be logged during each'siK
<br />mOnth period, or the project Hill be considered abandoned.
