<br />210.52(E): <br /> <br />230.70(A)(1): <br /> <br />406.8(A): <br /> <br />406.8(B)(1): <br /> <br />422.31 (B): <br /> <br />Electrical Notes <br />2002 Electrical Code <br />5640 - 18th Street <br /> <br />For a one-family dwelling and each unit ofa two-family dwelling that is at grade level, at <br />least one receptacle outlet accessible at grade level and not more than 2.0 m (6 Yz ft) <br />above grade shall be installed at the front and back of each dwelling. <br /> <br />The service disconnecting means shall be installed at readily accessible location either <br />outside of a building or structure or inside nearest the point of entrance of the service <br />conductors <br /> <br />A receptacle installed outdoors in a location protected from the weather or in other damp <br />locations shall have an enclosure for the receptacle that is weatherproof when the <br />receptacle is covered (attachment plug cap not inserted and receptacle covers closed). <br /> <br />15- and 20-ampere, 125- and 250-volt receptacles installed outdoors in a wet location <br />shall have an enclosure that is weatherproof whether or not the attachment plug cap is <br />inserted. <br /> <br />For permanently connected appliances rated over 300 volt-amperes or lI8 hp, the branch- <br />circuit switch or circuit breaker shall be permitted to serve as the disconnecting means <br />were the switch or circuit breaker is within sight from the appliance or is capable of being <br />locked in the open position. <br /> <br />03/13/03 <br />7:29 AM <br />
