<br />to be licensed in accordance with state and local regulations. If the contractor is Ilot
<br />licensed as required by law, both the ovmer and contractor may be cited for a misdemeanor
<br />violation under state law. If the owner or intended contractor are uncertain as to wllat
<br />licensing requirements may apply for the intended work, they are advised to contact the
<br />city of Zephyrhills Building Department, 813-766-6611.

<br />contractor(s) sign portions of the "Contractor Sections" of thls applioation for which they
<br />vll11 be respon.sible. If you, as the owner signs as the contractor, YQLi are indicating that
<br />you, rather than the contractor, are responsible for the work. If the contractor wislles
<br />you to sign as contractor that may be an indication that he is not properly licellsed and 16
<br />llot entitled to permitting prlvil~ges in the city of Zephyrhills.

<br />it to the "owner" prior to commencement.

<br />A permit issued shall be construed to be a license to proceed with the work and not as
<br />authority to vlolate, cancel, alter, or set aside any provisions of the technical codes,
<br />nor shall lssuance of a permlt prevent the Building Official from thereafter requiring a
<br />correction of errors in plans, con~truction, or viOlations of any code. Every permit
<br />is~ued shall become invalid unless the work authorized by such permit is oouuuenced within
<br />six months of lssllance, or lf work authorized by the permlt is suspended or abandoqed for a
<br />period of alx months after the time the work ls conunenced' One 90 day eKtenslon of time
<br />may be allowed for tlle permit with fee charge of $15.00. The extension ~hall be requeated
<br />in \ui ting to the Buildlng Offlcial. An approved inspection must be logged during eaoh ai K
