<br />A. NOTICE OF DEED RESTRICTIONS
<br />The underaigned understands thqt thi~ permit may be subject to "deed restriotions" which
<br />may be more restrictive than City regulations. The undersigned assumes responsibility for
<br />compliance with any applioable deed restrictions.
<br />B. UlnlcENSED CON'I'RAC'rORS AND CON'l'RACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES
<br />If the owner has hired a contractor or contractors to undertake work, they may be required
<br />to be licensed in accordaIlce with state and local regulations. If Lhe contractor is not
<br />licensed as required by law, both the owner and oontractor may be cited for a misdemeanor
<br />violation under state law. It the owner or intended contractor are uncertain as to ~~lat
<br />licensing requirements may apply for the intended work, they are advised to contact the
<br />City of Zephyrhills Building Department, 813-786-6611.
<br />Furthenno~-e, if the owner has hired a contractor or contractors, he is advised to have the
<br />eontractor(s) sign portions of the "Contractor Sections" of this application for which they
<br />~dll be responsible. It you, as the owner signs as the contractor, YQll are indicating that
<br />you, rather than the oontractor, are responsible for the work. If the oontracto~' \-lishes
<br />you to sign as contractor that may be an indication that he is not properly licensed and is
<br />not entitled to permitting privileges in the City of Zephyrhills.

<br />be done in compliance with all applicable laws regulating construotion, zoning, and land
<br />development.
<br />Applioation is hereby made to obtain a permit to do work and installation as indicated. I
<br />ce.J:ti fy that no work or installation has oonunenced prior to issuanoe of a perrni t and that
<br />all work will be performed to meet standards of all laws regUlating construotion, City
<br />codes, zoning regulations, and land development regulations in the jurisdiction. I also
<br />certify that I under'stand that the regulations of other governmental agencies may apply to
<br />tile intended work, and that it is my responsibility to identity what actions I must take to

<br />understood that a draJnage plan addressing a "compensating volume"'will be submitted which
<br />is prepared by a professional engineer registered in tile State of Florida prior to permit
<br />issuance,
<br />A permit issued shall be construed to be a license to proceed with the work and not as
<br />authority to violate, canoel, alter, or set aside any provisions of the technical codes,
<br />nor shall issuance of a permit prevent the Building Otficial from thereafter requiring a
<br />correation of errors in plans, oonstruction, or violations of any code. Every permit
<br />isrsued shall become invalid unless the Hork authorized by such permit is oonunenced Hithin
<br />sJx months of issuance, or if work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoQed for a
<br />period of ai:K months after the tilne the work is conunenced. One 90 day e:Ktension of tillle
<br />may be allowed for the permit with fee charge of $15.00. The extension shall be teques~ed
<br />in writing to the Buildi.ng Official. An approved inspection must be Jogged duri.ng each si.x
<br />month period, or the project Hill be considered abandoned.
