<br />contractor(s) sign portions of the "Contractor Sections" of this application for whicll they
<br />will be responsible. If you, as the OHner signs as the contractor, you are indicating that
<br />you, rather than the contractor, are responsible for the work. If the contractor vdshes
<br />you to sign as contractor that may be an indication that he is not properly licensed and is
<br />not entitled to permitting privileges in the City of ~ephyrh1l1s.

<br />A permit issued shC:lll be construed to be a license to proceed with the Hork and not as
<br />authority to violate, cancel, alter, or set aside any provision::; of the technical codel:i,
<br />nor shall issuance of a perm1t prevent the Building Official from thereafter reqlliring a
<br />correction of errors in plans, construct!on, or violations of any code. Every permit
<br />i::;slled shall become invalid unless the work authorized by such per'mit is cOllunenced within
<br />six montll':;; of issuance, or if work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned for a
<br />period of ai.x monthl:l after: the time the work is conooenced. One 90 day e.ctension of t1me
<br />may be allowed for the permit with fee cllarge of $15.00. The extension shall be requested
<br />in vniting to the Buil.ding Official. An approved inspection must be logged during each six
<br />month period, or the pt'oject Hill be consi.dered abandoned.
