About
the size of a deck of playing cards, these devices are designed to
blend with any decor.

Thanksto patented breakthrough technology, EST Genesis
strobes do not require bulky specular reflectors. Instead, an
exclusive mask-and-cavity design channels and conditions light
to produce a highly controllable distribution pattern. Intensive
development efforts employing this new technology have given
rise to a new benchmark in strobe performance - Full Light
technology.

FullLight strobe technology produces a smooth light distribution
pattern without the spikes and voids characteristic of specular

t.1...:r:r~.
- 1-
-, III!
~,.::,--~'

*1.................

~:*.
.:.:.:....-=..,..
-. -.'* ..
....:.... ~...
... .....:...
....:.-.

1. PLACE
WINNER

MEA
(E

..t:.',...."..
(~)

reflectors. This ensures the entire coverage area receives consis-
tent illumination from the strobe flash. As a result, Genesis strobes
with FullLighttechnology go well beyond the minimum UL-
required "T" pattern, significantly exceeding UL-1971 and ULC-
S526 light distribution requirements.

Although all Genesis strobes are self-synchronizing, when installed
with the Genesis Signal Master, strobe flashes from devices on the
same circuitsynchronizeto within 10 milliseconds of each other
indefinitely. This exceeds the revised UL standards in effect as of
November, 2QOO, which specify this level of synchronization over
only two hours. The Genesis Signal Master also permits indepen-
dent horn control (on, off, and coded signals) over a single pair of
wires. Only one Signal Master is required' per circuit. See Catalog
Sheet #85001-0545for details concerning the Signal Master.

Genesis horns are available in standard and high dB output
models, which reach output levels as high as 100 dB. The 110 cd
HO (high output) model is suitableforsleeping and non-sleeping
areas alike. Itfeatures a unique miltiplefrequencytonethat results
in excellent wall penetration and an unmistakable warning of
danger. All temporal models may be configured for either coded
or non-coded signal circuits.

Genesis strobes and horns are available with textured housings in
architecturally neutral white or traditional fire alarm red. They
feature an iconographic symbol indicating the purpose ofthe
device. This universal symbol is code-compliant and is easily
recognized by all building occupants regardless of what language
they speak.

EDWARDS SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY

U.S. SALES: SARASOTA, FL941-739-4638; FAX941-727-1214 .
