<br />Hood to be 18 gauge galvanized or stainless steel, 24" H, and overhang <br />cooking equipment 6" on all open sides. <br />All joints to be continuous, liquid tight external weld. <br />Grease filters to be UL Listed and sized to facilitate airflow at a rate <br />consistent with listing requirements. <br />Filters shaH be framed, and frame sealed to canopy in such manner as to <br />prevent grease from passing between collection area and plenum area. <br /> <br />Hood to be supported by material equal to that used for hood construction. <br /> <br />Exbaust duct to be 16 gauge galvanized steel with all joints either lapped or <br />butted and welded with continuous, liquid tight external weld. Hood-to-duct <br />joint may be welded internally with no grease traps formed. <br /> <br />Clearance.
