<br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />21. Subcontractor shall supply sufficient manpower and materials and startup performance of the <br />subcontractor's work as directed by contractor and shall maintain sufficient manpower and <br />materials on the job and work all such hours as may be necessary so as to comply with the <br />progress schedule established by the subcontractor's responsibilities under the subcontractor in <br />as short oftime as possible. <br />22. Notwithstanding anything in this Subcontract to the contrary, contractor shall not be liable for <br />any extras or additional work, nor shall Subcontractor be entitled to additional time to <br />complete any such work, unless ordered or authorized in writing by a duly authorized officer <br />of contractor. In no event shall any oral order or authorization be regarded as valid for any <br />purpose. <br />23. All materials, tools, equipment and supplies stored upon the project shall be done so at <br />subcontractor's sole risk and subcontractor shall have the sole responsibility to provide <br />insurance coverage to indemnifY him in case of loss. <br />24. Unless specifically otherwise provided herein, all licenses and permits which may be required <br />for the work to be done by subcontractor shall be obtained and paid for by the subcontractor. <br />The contract sum as set forth in paragraph 2 hereof includes applicable sales and use taxes. <br />25. Subcontractor shall not assign nor transfer this contract or any part hereof or any <br />interest herein without the prior written consent of contractor. <br />26. Subcontractor agrees to furnish a competent representation to attend monthly or other job <br />conferences as may be scheduled from time to time by contractor. Attendance at said job <br />conferences shall be deemed to be a part of subcontractor's responsibilities under this contract <br />in that at said job conferences matters related to the completion of the total project shall be <br />discussed, including but not limited to, variances in the scheduling and progress of work, other <br />orders and instructions regarding the work, as well as progress reports of the various sub _ <br />trades, such as subcontractor herein. Subcontractor shall be provided with a set of minutes of <br />said job conferences which, unless subcontractor objects to the contents of same as set forth in <br />said minutes, shall become a part of the duties, obligations and responsibilities of <br />subcontractor under this contract. <br />27. Subcontractor acknowledges that he has read the general conditions of the contract between <br />owner and contractor, and the drawings and specifications prepared by architect, as set forth in <br />paragraph 1 hereof and that he fully understands the totality of his responsibilities as set forth <br />thereunder. <br />:48. Subcontractor shall perform the work required hereunder in accordance with all applicable <br />laws, codes, ordinances, codes and zoning regulations.
