<br />A permi t is.::med shall be construed to be a license to proceed with the work and not as
<br />authority to violate, cancel, alter, or set aside any provisions of tlr;;; technical codes,
<br />nor shall issuance of a permi.t prevent the Building Official from thereafter requiring a
<br />correction of errors in plans, construct!on, or violations of any code. Every permit
<br />!:;;sued shall become invalid unless the work authorized by such per'mit is cOllunenced within
<br />six months of i.ssuance, or if work authorized by the penni t is suspended or abandoned for a
<br />period ot six month::; after the time the work il:i conunenced. One 90 day extension of time
<br />may be alloVled tor the permit with fee charge of $15.00. The extension shall be requested
<br />in vniting to the building Official. An approved inspection must b;;; logged dllring each six
<br />month period, or the project Vlill be considered abandoned.
