CTR., S-210 <br />7530 LITTLE ROAD <br />NEW PORT RICHEY, FL 34654 <br /> <br />NOTICE <br />o It has been determined that your property does not lie within the 100-year flood zone. <br /> <br /> <br />D It h as been determined that your property lies within the 100-year flood zone as <br />established by the Federal Insurance Rate Maps. ' <br /> <br />Under Section 700 of the Pasco County Land Development Code, all new residential construction <br />or substantial improvement thereto within the 100-year flood zone must have its lowest habitable <br />floor or, when applicable. its lowest supporting structural member elevated in accordance with <br />approved construction standards to or above the applicable base flood elevation. All new <br />nonresidential construction or substantial improvements thereto within the 100-year flood zone <br />must either have its lowest habitable floor or, when applicable, its lowest supporting structural <br />member elevated in accordance with approved construction standards to or above the applicable <br />base flood elevation, or must be flood-proofed in accordance with approved construction <br />standards. <br /> <br />Prior to constructing a structure on one acre or less, the builder shall be required to provide an <br />engineered lot grading plan with the Building Permit application that does not create any adverse <br />impact on adjacent or off.site properties. An engineered lot grading plan (two sealed copies) shall <br />also be required to be submitted for accessory structures which produce impervious area in excess <br />of 500 square feet and are located on one acre or less, These permits Include additions, pools, <br />slabs, etc, In addition, the driveway connection with a site plan shall also be shown and reviewed <br />as part of the Building Permit application for new residential units. <br /> <br />Prior to release of the Certificate of Occupancy or final inspection where no Certificate of <br />Occupancy is issued, the developer/owner/builder shall execute an affidavit, provide an as-built <br />survey prepared by a registered surveyor and mapper in the State of Florida of the lot and the <br />driveway construction, and return same to the Building Inspections Division. The' as-built survey <br />shall be in conformance with the approved Stormwater Managemf.lnt Plan and Repcft. Any <br />deviations from the approved plan must be noted and will be reviewed for compliance with the <br />County codes and ordinances. <br /> <br />Further, if fill material is to be utilized to meet the base flood finished floor criteria, the applicant <br />shall be required to submit, concurrent with the Certificate of Compliance, an engineer's <br />certificate as required by code. Such certification shall be prepared and sealed by a registered <br />professional engineer, State of Florida, and shall attest that the construction will not create an <br />adverse impact upon adjoining property as a result of stormwater run-off. <br /> <br />In accordance with Resolution No. 98-153, failure to comply with the above-mentioned <br />regulations could constitute a violation of the Pasco County Code or Pasco County Land <br />Development Code and may subject the violator to a fine not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars <br />($ 500,00) or imprisonment for a period not exceeding sixty (60) days, or both, or other <br />appropriate legal action.
