Ship to project site in1 piece. <br /> <br />2.3 MOUNTING <br />B. Foundation Tube: PVC foundation tube, Schedule 40 minimum, sized to suit flagpole <br />and installation. <br /> <br />2.4 FITTINGS <br />A. Finial Ball: Manufacturer's standard flush seam ball, sized as indicated or, if not <br />indicated, to match pole butt diameter. <br />1. .063 inch spun aluminum with gold anodized finish <br />B. Single Stationary Truck Assembly: Cast aluminum non-fouling with single pulley and <br />pin, provided with three set screws for attachment to pole. <br />H. Halyard: Provide 1 continuous 5/16" (#10) polypropylene halyards and two (2) <br />chrome plated bronze snaphooks per halyard. <br />K. Concrete: Comply with requirements of Division 3 Section "Cast in Place Concrete". <br /> <br />2.6 FINISHES <br /> <br />A. Metal Finishes, General: Comply with NAAMM's "Metal Finishes Manual for Architectural <br />and Metal Products" for recommendations for applying and designating finishes. <br /> <br />B. Aluminum: Finish designations prefixed by AA conform to the system established by <br />the Aluminum Association for designating aluminum finishes. <br /> <br />1. Natural Satin Finish: Provide directional-sanded satin finish (AA-M33); buff <br />complying with AA-M20. <br /> <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> <br />3.1 PREPARATION <br /> <br />A. Excavation: For foundations, excavate to neat clean lines in undisturbed soil. Remove <br />loose soil and foreign matter from excavation and moisten earth before placing concrete. <br /> <br />B. Provide forms where required due to unstable soil conditions and for perimeter of <br />flagpole base at grade. Secure forms, foundation tube, fiberglass sleeve, or anchor bolts <br />in position, braced to prevent displacement during concreting. <br />C. Place concrete immediately after mixing. Compact concrete in place by using vibrators. <br />Moist-cure exposed concrete for not less than 7 days or use a non-staining curing <br />compound. <br /> <br />D. Trowel exposed concrete surfaces to a smooth, dense finish, free of trowel marks and <br />uniform in texture and appearance. Provide positive slope for water runoff to base <br />perimeter <br /> <br />3.2 FLAGPOLE INSTALLATION <br /> <br />A. General: Install flagpoles where shown and according to shop drawings and <br />manufacturer's written instructions. <br />
