..

~t( ,)

CONSULTING ENGINEERS, INC.

November 29, 2006
File No. 06-187

C&N Foundation Technologies
PO Box 1027
San Antonio, FL 33576

Attention:

Mr. John Casorio

Subject:

Grouting and Underpinning Recommendations, Tourist Club of Zephyrhills, 5216
7th Street, Zephyrhills, Florida

Dear Mr. Casorio:

As requested, our firm has performed an underpinning design for the subject project. The
results of that design are outlined herein.

SUPPLIED INFORMATION

Our office has reviewed the information you supplied for the subject project. Specifically, we
reviewed the report prepared by Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc., their project no. 119747 dated
November 7,2006. Our review of the Rimkus report indicates that sinkhole conditions were not
encountered. However, the soil subsidence may be related to the presence of buried debris
and/or ongoing erosion. The results of our review indicated distress to both the exterior and
interior of the structure.

COMMENTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Based on our review of the information supplied, it is our opinion that underpinning of the
structure is necessary to stabilize the conditions encountered. In orderto stabilize the unsuitable
conditions encountered along the north wall, we recommend that a total of eighteen (18)
underpins be installed at the locations shown on the attached Sheet 1A. The specifics regarding
these underpins are outlined on the attached Table 1.

CLOSURE

We trust the enclosed information will satisfy your immediate needs. Please do not hesitate to
contact this office if you have any questions or require additional information.

Very truly yours,
WRS CONSULTING E~~RS, INC.

~~.~7~

President
Florida Registration No. 24045

P.O.
