Cut a piece of galvanized drip cap the length ofthe window frame plus 114" to allow for 118" overhang past the ends of the header; apply as follows: . Apply a bead of silicone across the top of the head exterior trim inset 1/4" from the exterior edge . Center drip cap on head exterior trim with 118" overhang past the ends of the trim . Mechanically fasten drip cap with appropriate sized nails pr screws te: Drip cap may or may not come with new window, but can be p rchased at a local hardware store. I .
