Use with 07024 Series Fire Alarm <br />Control Panels with a multiplex bus <br /> <br />· U L Listed <br /> <br />Description <br /> <br />The 07044, 07044M and 07052 Multiplex Input Modules <br />are general purpose devices that connect a NIO contact <br />device to the multiplex bus of the control panel with a <br />supervised input loop. All operating power for the input <br />modules is drawn from the control panel. <br />Rotary switches provide for convenient address setting. <br />An on-board status LED on the Multiplex Input Modules <br />indicates Normal, Alarm and Trouble conditions and is <br />visible on the module or via an aesthetically pleasing, <br />low profile faceplate. <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />The 07044, 07044M and 07052 Multiplex Input Modules <br />are used whenever it in necessary to connect a Normally <br />Open (N/O) contact to the Multiplex Bus of a 07024. <br />The 07044 and 07044M may be used in a Class B <br />configuration with a Supervised input. The 07052 is <br />suitable for 2 Class B Supervised inputs or 1 Class A <br />input. <br /> <br />+ <br /> <br />(f" <br /> <br />$ radiOn1c5 <br />II' <br /> <br />j'';;'" <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br />.**' <br />._ ,_. ,I <br />., . 7.. .1 <br />............ .~.. <br />...... .... <br /> <br />Installation <br /> <br />Connections are made using the terminals on the rear <br />of the 07044 or 07052. All terminals can accommodate <br />up to and including #12 AWG (2.3 mm) wire, however, <br />make sure to follow wiring guidelines as specified by <br />NFPA-70 (the National Electrical Code). All wiring is <br />power limited and supervised. <br /> <br />Connections for the 07044M are made using the flying <br />leads from the device. <br /> <br />Install, test and maintain this device according to the <br />Installation Guide, NFPA 72, Local Codes and the <br />Authority Having Jurisdiction. Failure to follow these <br />procedures may result in failure of the device to operate <br />properly.
