Four (112" x 118") weep slots <br />were located on the inner chamher wall of the sill,. two on very end of each side. Two (1/2" <br />x 3/16") weep slots were located On the interior of the sill, one 1-3/4" from each end. The <br />fillme. sill was a sIp-ped sill. Three (3/8" diameter) bafEfed weep holes were located. on the <br />bottom rail of the screen, one weep in the center and one 5-3/4" from each end. <br /> <br />Sealant: <br />Silicone sealant was applied to all the foHmving areas: <br />· Entire bottoni oftbe sill to buck intersection., <br />· Screw heads hole openings used tor anchorage of the frame to buck. <br />· Exterior and interior offrame to buck IntersectiQn. <br />· A~" wood Shim around the perimeter of the frame secured to the frame. <br />· C over flange at the s.ill and header on the exterior of the frame was sealed to the <br />framelflange intersection and the flange was also sealed to the buck/flange intersection, <br /> <br />AnchQrage: <br />A ~14." woods-him was attached with silicone to the perimeter of the buck frame. Two <br />a:dditionalll4n wood shim strips were attacl:led at eachjamb screw attachment to the wood <br />buck. The frame was attached to the buck using 2" long wood screws along with silicone at <br />the sm and on the extenor a:'1d intenorperimeter of the frame to buck intersections.. 'E.'1.cn <br />jamb Was attached with five sets of.2" long screws. The head~r was attached with three sets <br />of wood screws. Each set of SCrews consisted of a screw located on the interior jamb track <br />and one screw located on the exterior track of the frame. Each set of screws were attached <br />paraUel to each other. The sill was secured using a built up of woad that was secured to the <br />. buck and then the sill was attached withsi1icone to the wood. The exterior of the sill then <br />used a trim attachment and wassecuted to the frame sill and buck using silicone. <br />
