Three (3/8" diameter) baffled weephotes were located on the <br />bottom rail of the screen, one weep in the center and one 5-314" from each end. <br /> <br />Sealant: <br />Silicone sealant was applied to all the fonowing areas: <br />· Entire bottom of the sill to buck intersection., <br />· Screw heads hole openings used tor anchorage of the frame to buck. <br />· Exterior and interior offrame to buck intersection. <br />· A W' wood Shim around the perimeter of the frame secured to the frame. <br />e Cover flange at the sill and header on the exterior of the frame was sealed to the <br />framelflange intersection and the flange was also sealedto the buck/flange intersection, <br /> <br />Anchorage: <br />A ~'4n wood shim was attached with silicone to the perimeter of the bu~k frame. Two <br />additional W' wood shim strips were attacl1ed at each jamb screw attachment to the wood <br />buck. The frame was attached tothe buck using2" longwOodscreWsalon~ with silicone at <br />the siH and on the exterior &~d mteriorperimeter Qfthefran~-e to buck inters:ectians, E.~ch <br />jamb wasattacMd with five sets of2"long screws. The hea:derwas attached with three sets <br />of wood screws. Each set of screws consisted ofa screw located on the interior jamb track <br />and one Screw located on the exterior track of the frame, Each set of screws were attached <br />parallel to each other. The sill was secured using a built up of woad that was secured to the <br />. buck and then the sill was attached 'With silicone to the wood. Thee;>ct.enor of the sill then <br />used a trim attachment and was secured to the frame sill and buck using silicone. <br />
