<br />. , <br /> <br />Yl <br />! <br /> <br />Project No. T133-06 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />PERFORMANCE TEST REPORT <br /> <br />Manufacturer: <br /> <br />Gorell Enterprises, Inc. <br />1380 Wayne Ave. <br />Indiana, PA 15701 <br /> <br />Product Identification <br /> <br />Product Type: <br />Series/Model #: <br /> <br />Double Hung Window <br />G5305 <br /> <br />Product Description <br />General: <br />Test sample was comprised of Gorell Model # G5305 Double Hung Vinyl (tilt loading type) <br />one over one window, with an overall master frame size measuring 52" wide X 72" high X 3- <br />l/4" deep. The frame comers were of welded mitered construction with one screw in bottom <br />comers. Each perimeter frame member hollows were filled with stirofoam pieces that <br />measured to be 7/16" X 9/16". The top sash measured 47-1/4"wide X 34-9/16" high. The <br />bottom sash measured 48-l/8" wide X 35-l/2" high. The sash comers were of welded <br />mitered construction. <br /> <br />Operators and Other Hardware: <br />Each sash had two sets of 3 constant force balance shoes. Two cam-type sweep locks were <br />attached to the bottom sash meeting rail with corresponding keepers on the top sash meeting <br />rail. One plastic tilt latch with thumb actuator was housed at each end of the top rail and <br />interior meeting rail of the bottom sash. One stamped steel (channel shaped) pivot bar was <br />fastened with (1) screw at each end of the bottom horizontal rails of the top and bottom sash. <br />Each sash had a lift rail with the top sash lift rail on the top rail and the bottom sash lift rail <br />on the bottom rail. <br /> <br />Glazing System: <br />The sash was interior drop glazed with 7/8" (nominal) thick insulated glass that was set on a <br />bead of Q'SO Q17 Instalam Laminating Adhesive around the perimeter of the glazing <br />(exterior). After the glass was set in place the entire perimeter side cavity ofthe glazing was <br />back sealed with Q'SO Q17 Adhesive. An exterior snap-in single leaf dual durometer rigid <br />vinyl glazing bead was us~d. The IG units were as follows: <br />1/8" DSB (exterior) / 1I~" \~tercept spacer / 1/4" (nominal) laminated glass (laminated glass <br />used two 2.7mm anneale~~~t~s w/ 0:060 PVB inner layer). The PVB inner layer was <br />manufactured by Dupont (as. given ~y the customer). <br />
