<br />High strength precast concrete lintels designed to be unfilled or filled to form a composite reinforced beam using concrete masonry units.
<br />
<br />I GENERAL NOTES
<br />
<br />1. Provide full mortar head and bed joints.
<br />2. Shore filled lintels as required.
<br />3. Installation of lintel must comply with architectural
<br />and/or structural drawings.
<br />4. U-Lintels are manufactured with 5-1/2 inch long notches at
<br />ends to accomodate vertical cell reinforcing and grouting.
<br />5. All lintels meet or exceed L/360 vertical deflection, except

<br />(lateral) loads should be checked for the combined loading with the
<br />following equation:
