<br />Pl_UMBING SPECIFICATIONS
<br />
<br />1,1 BRIEF DESCRIPT:ON OF WORK
<br />A. A Complete waste system including but not necessarily limited to drains, venting, fixture
<br />connections and septic system as indicated on drawings. Drawing scales prohibit the
<br />indications of all offsets, fittings, sleeves and similar items, however, these items shall be
<br />provided by this subcontractor at no extra cost to the owner. It is the intent that the work
<br />shall be complete in every respect and that any material or work not specifically
<br />mentioned or shown on the drawings but necessary to complete the work shall be
<br />provided.
<br />B. Hot and cold water piping systems including rough-ins, connections to trim and to water
<br />utility service.
<br />C. All fixtures and trim. Verify with owner.
<br />D. A totally functioning plumbing system, tested, adjusted and placed in satisfactory
<br />operating condition by the contractor. The system shall fit within the allotted space with
<br />adequate clearance for servicing, operating and adjusting.
<br />
<br />1,2 CODES, PERMITS, AND FEES
<br />A. Standard Plumbing Code, Standard Building Code, local codes and ordinances,
<br />B. Obtain required permits, inspections and pay required fees for the work of this Section.
<br />
<br />1 .3 WARRANTY:
<br />A. For period of one year warrant the work specified herein against becoming unserviceable
<br />or causing objectionable appearance resulting from either defective or nonconforming
<br />material or workmanship. Defects shall include, but not be limited to noise, vibration,
<br />rust or leaks.
<br />
<br />1.4- SUBMITTALS
<br />A. PRODUCT DATA: The General Contractor, within 10 days after receiving the Owners
<br />Notice to Proceed shall submit to the Owner 5 sets of schedules, charts, literature,
<br />rnanufacturers recommended installation procedure and illustrations to indicate the
<br />performance, fabrication procedures, product variations and accessories on the submitted
<br />items.
<br />
<br />1.5 GENERAL PROVISIONS FOR PLUMBING WORK.
<br />A. The drawings are to be considered diagrammatic and indicate the general arrangement of
<br />the work and systems, Refer to building drawings to verify exact space locations and
<br />space conditions.
<br />B. Without additional cost to the owner, provide such other labor and materials as are
<br />required to complete the work of this Section in accordance with the requirements of
<br />governmental agencies having jurisdiction, regardless of whether such materials and
<br />associated labor are called for elsewhere in these Contract Documents,
<br />C. Layout work and set sleeves so there shall be minimum of cutting, drilling and patching,
<br />D. This contractor shall do all excavation and backfill required for the installation of his
<br />work.

<br />BUILDING CONSTRUCTION NOTES

<br />1, This single family dwelling is to sac type construction requirements, Construction
<br />shall comply with local County and state agencies,
<br />
<br />2. All openings around walls, partitions, pipes, ducts, conduits etc" shall be sealed fully
<br />and sound proofed with sealants of type for application.

<br />3. Painting.. All surfaces shall be properly prepared and cured to manufacturer's
<br />instruction prior to painting, Paint shall be "first line" produced by PORTER, SHERWIN II
<br />WILLIAMS, or equal with colors selected by the owner. All painted surfaces
<br />shall be painted with materials appropriate for the application in a workmanship mannerl
<br />to the paint manufacturer's instruction, I

<br />5, Regular GYPSUM wall board and ceiling sheets, 1/2" thick to ASTM C36 requirements _Ii
<br />with all construction work to GA 600 and GA 216 on all interior ceiling surfaces.

<br />6. All Room, Door and Plumbing Finish schedules are to be verified with Owner.
<br />
<br />4. Caulk all exposed joints. Clean, prime, caulk and seal all joints between door and
<br />window frames with DOW CORNING silicon of type for application. Use foam back-up
<br />rods as required at wide joints. Use accoustical foam sealants by DAP or TREMCO at
<br />sound proofing applications at openings or cracks,

<br />1. All work to be done In accordance with all applicable codes and

<br />3, Contractor will visit site prior to bidding, no allowances for any

<br />from date of final written acceptance.
