Obtaining permit, the applicant acknowledges <br /> complying with the items listed below. Should anyone have any questions, please do not <br /> hesitate to contact the Fire Marshal's office. <br /> 1. Fire rated barriers /walls shall remain intact. Any penetrations shall be done so <br /> in accordance with a UL listing to m maintain the rating. <br /> 2. Certified fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance of NFPA 10 for <br /> mercantile use. Extinguishers shall be located within 75' of travel distance. <br /> 3. This building has a fire alarm system. If any changes are made to the fire <br /> alarm system permit and plans required. <br /> 4. This building has a sprinkler system in which changes will have to be made to <br /> accommodate the new office and any other areas. Permit and plans are <br /> required prior to performing work. <br /> 5. Dumpster can not obstruct the FDC of the fire sprinkler system and dumpster <br /> containment area shall be built to City specs. Concrete block wall with non- <br /> combustible gates. <br /> 6. Key to business is required to be placed in Knox Box by main door. <br /> Inspections Required: <br /> 1. Final <br /> KE' c BARNETT, FIRE MARSHAL <br /> ***Please be advised this review of plans submitted is a cursory review to assist the contractor in <br /> compliance with applicable fire safety codes. This review is not intended to be a final approval of the <br /> submitted plans. It is the contractor's sole responsibility to ensure that the plans are in complete compliance <br /> with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. In the event that further examination or site <br /> inspection reveals areas of non - compliance, it shall be the contractor's sole responsibility, at their sole <br /> expense to bring those areas in compliance. The City assumes no responsibility far the contractor's failure <br /> to be in compliance with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. <br />
