Any change from the signed plans and specifications must be in writing and must be paid for at the time the change is agreed upon. If the change is a deletion the amount shall be credited against the final payment. There will be a $250.00 administration fee for each change order. Commencement Date and Protection • The contract amount has been determined as of the Contract date. Because of periods of inflation in the building industry, Builder will only guarantee that amount for 45 days from Contract date. If any problems arises which delays commencement through no fault of Builder, there may be an additional amount added to contract. This figure will be determined at the time that construction commences. At that time, if Builder requests a price increase in writing, Owner has the firm option of canceling the Contract by a letter in writing to Builder within ten (10) calendar days from the date increase is requested. -2-
