This project be all d to move forward. <br /> Paying for permit, contractor acknowledges complying wi e following items below. <br /> Should anyone have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Fire Marshal's <br /> office. <br /> 1. Firewall separating tenants is a 1 hour rated assembly. Therefore, only <br /> occupancies that require a 1 hour rated assembly could be established in this <br /> structure. In accordance to NFPA 101 occupancy separation is determine by <br /> classification of occupancy. As a business occupancy the separation planned <br /> meets the code. If a different type of occupancy comes in a greater separation <br /> may be required at that time. <br /> 2. Where the door was relocated to a hall area, though an additional exit is not <br /> required, an exit sign shall be installed above that particular door. <br /> 3. Install a "hotel latch" on the door above and recommend the installation of <br /> "hotel latches" on the other rear door versus deadbolts. Hotel latches allow the <br /> door to always be opened from the inside but requires a key from the outside. <br /> 4. Fire separation wall shall be labeled as "Fire wall — Do not penetrate" <br /> Inspection Required: <br /> 1. Screw inspection on the fire separation. <br /> 2. Spray Inspection on the trusses that penetrate the fire separation. <br /> 3. Fire Separation Final <br /> 4. Building Final <br />
